PROTEIN PACKED YOGHURT
Making lasting changes to your health is all about changing your habits. For most of my clients, I find that eating more protein is a habit that they need to get into. In fact, they need to be eating a lot more protein. But this isn’t always easy and most people looking to gain muscle or lose fat are falling well short of their protein requirements.
One of the most common questions that I get asked is: “How can I get more protein in my diet?” This series of blog posts is going to provide some suggestions to that question and they’re all going to be based around Greek yoghurt: FAGE Total 0% Greek Yoghurt, to be precise. (This not nutritionally the same as Greek style yoghurt).
Why?
Because I love this stuff, it tastes great, is high in protein and is fat free, making it ideal for those looking for additional protein on a calorie-restricted diet. (If you’re not in a calorie deficit and don’t need to watch your fats, then feel free to go for full fat).
Here is some nutritional info on Total 0% per 100g:

Carbohydrates: 4g
Protein: 10.3g
Obviously, Greek yoghurt is a great little snack that you can squeeze in between meals during the day. Whack a few bits of fruit and a small blob of honey on there and you’ve got a tasty low-calorie treat. But the real beauty of this little gem is its versatility and over the next couple of posts, my aim is to give you some of my favourite high protein Greek yoghurt recipes … so keep your eyes open!
